Breastfeeding

Our breastfeeding class is helpful for those who plan to breastfeed, are unsure, or plan to pump and bottle feed. Please be sure to inform your instructor how you plan to feed your baby. Basics of breastfeeding including latching, positioning, and knowing when your baby is getting enough food are discussed as well as helpful trouble- shooting tips. Baby friendly tips which are those designed to ensure your baby is fed in the healthiest manner are woven throughout the presentation during this interactive class. We encourage you to bring spouse, significant other, or support person with you to class to better aid them in understanding all aspects of breastfeeding so they in turn can offer support and encouragement to you.

With the Community Level as Low, participants are not mandated to wear a mask; however, we want you to know that:

Individuals who have pre-existing conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, the elderly, pregnancy, and immunocompromised status, etc., and individuals who are unvaccinated or not up to date with vaccines places one at greater risk of acquiring/transmitting the disease. We recommend masking and social distancing with any event.   Anyone with any of the following symptoms are not permitted to come:

• Shortness of Breath
• Difficulty Breathing
• Chills
• Headache
• Sore throat
• Loss of taste or smell

We recommend this class be taken four to ten weeks prior to your due date.

Fee: $15.00 per couple, only one name per couple needs to register.

Cancellation Policy

All registrations are subject to the following policy:

Please notify us at least one business day prior to the course regarding schedule changes. A $10 processing fee will be incurred for cancellations made less than one business day prior to class and will be deducted from any refund amount due.

Failure to attend the class will forfeit the class fee.
