Breast Pumping and Back to Work

This two- hour class will cover the basics of breast pump use with a focus on returning to work and pumping.  A variety of popular models will be available for hands-on practice, or participants may bring their own pump. Your husband, partner, or significant other is encouraged to attend and learn with you.

We recommend this class be taken in your 2-3 trimester.

Summa is closely monitoring our programs in conjunction with the CDC recommendations to keep our community and patients safe and healthy. With the Community Level as low, participants are not mandated to wear a mask.

Individuals who have pre-existing conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, the elderly, pregnancy, and immunocompromised status, etc., and individuals who are unvaccinated or not up to date with vaccines places one at greater risk of acquiring/transmitting the disease and we encourage masks.

If you have any of the following symptoms, you will not be permitted to come:

• Fever
• Cough
• Shortness of breath
• Difficulty breathing
• Chills
• Headache
• Sore throat
• Loss of taste or smell

Only one name per couple needs to register.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify us at least one business day prior to the course regarding schedule changes.

A $10 processing fee will be incurred for cancellations made less than one business day prior to class and will be deducted from any refund amount due. Failure to attend the class will forfeit the class fee.
