Surgical Oncology Opportunity– Akron, Ohio

Summa Health is seeking board certified/eligible Surgical Oncology physician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone to provide high-quality, collaborative care for surgical oncology patients. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in hepatobiliary and peritoneal surgery, and a desire to further develop a modern, multi-specialty practice. There is an expectation of strong ongoing coordination of care between Oncology, Surgical Services, Gastroenterology, Primary Care, and OR.

Candidate Requirements

  • Board certification/eligibility in General Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience is preferred
  • Unrestricted Ohio License or willingness to obtain
  • Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, multidisciplinary team-based environment
