Women’s Circle hosts Health Forum on June 2

Members of The Circle of Women’s Health Philanthropists hosted their annual Women’s Health Forum event on Thursday, June 2, at the historic estate, Château Fifty in Akron, Ohio. More than 50 members and their guests gathered to explore Summa Health resources, network and learn about the Circle’s mission to improve the overall health and well-being of women in the community.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation given by Summa Health skincare experts in dermatology and plastic and reconstructive surgery at Summa Health Medical Group. The skincare experts shared tips on the forum’s topic, “Care for the Skin You’re In.”

Circle members and their guests enjoyed guided tours of the beautiful estate, a networking reception and opportunities to talk one-on-one with skincare experts.

Colleen Wernig, chair of The Circle, was excited to have an in-person event for the first time in more than two years. “Getting this incredible group of women together means a lot, especially after these past few years and as one of the first groups to be hosted at Château Fifty,” said Colleen. “Our group has given grants totaling more than $770,000 to fund vital women’s health initiatives at Summa Health since we started in 2014. I am grateful for each of these remarkable women.”
