The Summa Health Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) provides comprehensive support for our physicians and staff in the acquisition and administration of externally funded projects that further the mission, vision and values of Summa Health. As steward of Summa Health’s externally-funded research portfolio, OSP strives to facilitate competitiveness and compliance for our investigators through customer service oriented assistance. We review, negotiate, and approve proposals while providing administrative oversight of established awards on behalf of Summa Health in accordance with all applicable policies and regulations.
OSP strives towards Summa Health’s overarching mission “to provide the highest quality, compassionate care to our patients and members and to contribute to a healthier community” through identification of funding opportunities, proposal preparation and submission, and award administration.
