The need for behavioral health specialists is growing in our community. Summa Health recognizes the importance of treating the whole patient and meeting patient’s behavioral health needs in a variety of clinical settings. In an effort to integrate medical and mental healthcare and improve patient health, we have been incorporating behavioral health providers into primary care and medical specialty areas across our health system.
Currently, Summa has embedded behavioral health providers in weight management, oncology, cardiology, neurology, women's health, geriatric services, family and internal medicine.
Our behavioral health specialists can provide evaluations, support in the time of difficult diagnoses, help adjusting to lifestyle changes and more.
