Summa Health values its community partnerships and remains committed to the health of the communities it serves. This year has been particularly difficult, both operationally and financially, for healthcare organizations across the nation. This is no different here at Summa. As we continue to face these unprecedented challenges, additional financial pressures are anticipated. Because of this, Summa has made the difficult decision to suspend all community philanthropic activity until further notice. This includes direct donations and non-profit sponsorships. This change will enable Summa to focus efforts and resources to fulfill its mission to provide the highest quality compassionate care and contribute to a healthier community. We look forward to once again accepting applications for support when funding becomes available.
