Summa Health's mental health assessment and psychiatric referral services can provide a rapid psychiatric evaluation and consultation with one of our clinical staff and if necessary, a staff psychiatrist. Primary care physicians and community providers whose patients are experiencing an acute increase in symptoms can get their patient evaluated, medications prescribed if needed and referred to the appropriate level of ongoing care.
