Medication safety is a top priority of Summa Health. Our care team will coordinate your physician’s orders for medication before you leave the hospital. We will verify the medication you will take at home is the correct dose for you and scheduled at the right time. Working together, we will ensure you get the benefits you expect from your medication.
Q: Can my prescription be added to my hospital bill?
A: Prescriptions filled upon discharge cannot be added to your bill. We are able to collect your co-pay when we deliver the medication to your bedside.
Q: Do you accept my prescription insurance plan?
A: We accept a majority of prescription insurance plans and directly bill your prescription to your insurance provider. You are responsible for any co-payment required by your insurance carrier at the time of prescription delivery.
Q: What is the cost of my prescription?
A: There is no additional cost to you for this service. Your cost is the same as what you would pay at a retail pharmacy.
Q: What type of payment do you accept for prescriptions?
A: We accept cash, check, credit cards, debit cards, or flexible spending cards.
Q: What if I have prescription refills?
A: Your prescriptions can be refilled at your preferred pharmacy.
