Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that is centered on the patient and uses data to drive decisions for quality improvement. It places a high value on meeting patient needs through measurement. The Performance Solutions Department, formed in 2012, brought together resources to help the organization execute on its long-term performance improvement plan and improve quality outcomes by utilizing Lean Six Sigma. The team is comprised of professionals with backgrounds in lean, six sigma, and project management for innovative healthcare business ideas, strategic project management and performance improvement solutions.
