Dan Ibarra, PA obtained a Bachelor of Arts in physical education at Southern Utah University and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Utah. He is board certified with the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and specializes in gastroenterology. He speaks English and basic Russian.

Dan enjoys many aspects of being a physician assistant but finds it fulfilling to be an integral part of improving the lives of each patient he serves. He believes that to achieve the best possible outcomes, good communication is essential. Dan strives to understand the individual needs and concerns of each patient. He believes doing so will help him properly diagnose and determine the best course of action. He also works with each patient individually to develop a treatment plan and follows up with them to ensure a healthy recovery.

When he is not seeing patients, Dan enjoys spending most of his time with his family. He likes to hike, travel, read, play sports, stay fit, and do DIY projects around the house. He is also involved in some humanitarian work that helps children abroad.
