Bio	Jason Okerlund, FNP, always wanted to be involved with helping and healing others, which is why he chose to become a nurse practitioner. Jason completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Jason loves every aspect of his job and finds it very rewarding. Originally, his goal was to live in a rural area because he wanted to help the underserved areas of our state. He always makes sure to treat his patients with respect and kindness, no matter who they are or where they come from. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities, including boating, fishing, hunting and playing sports. Additionally, he likes to spend time with his family outdoors. He is a big University of Utah sports fan and loves cheering for their teams. Jason also has the utmost respect for veterans and takes every opportunity he can to support them.

I can't recommend Dr. Okerland more.

I moved to Monroe from Southern California recently & was referred by numerous people, to Dr. Okerland. He is a conscientious, kind, educated, easy going physician who truly cares for his patients. His staff emulates those qualities from greeting you, all the way through your visit. I can't recommend Dr. Okerland more. In my humble opinion, there's not a better doctor around.

Been going here for around a decade now. Everyone is friendly and seems to genuinely care. It has that feeling you would expect in a small tight knit community. Dr. Okerlund is very caring and understanding. The few times he has been unavailable and I have had to see Dr.Mason. He also has been very kind and both seem up to date and up to speed on the latest in the healthcare field. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
