Toby Johnson, MD obtained a Bachelor of Science in business administration at the University of California, Berkeley, a post-baccalaureate degree in premedical sciences at California State University, and a Doctor of Medicine at the Cornell University Medical College in New York, New York. He also completed a general surgery internship at the University of California, San Francisco, an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, and a hand and upper extremity surgical fellowship at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Johnson is board certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery with added qualifications in the hand and upper extremities. He specializes in orthopedic surgery, and hand/upper extremity surgery.

Dr. Johnson chose to pursue a career in medicine because he enjoys helping people and finds great pleasure in solving complex medical problems. In his practice, he continues to educate himself on the latest advancements in orthopedics so that he can better support and aid his patients. He is especially interested in musculoskeletal/neurological systems and arthroscopic techniques.

When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his family and friends and engaging in outdoor activities.
