Emily Meidell is a women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP) and certified nurse midwife (CNM). She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah and is board certified as a WHNP and CNM with the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the National Certification Corporation.

Emily’s passion for women’s health stems from her humanitarian work in Africa over the last 15 years. She runs a humanitarian organization that is dedicated to the empowerment of girls and the health education of women. She is committed to personalized and compassionate care for all women with a strong belief that every woman deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, and sensitivity. It is her fervent belief that her patients should be heard and be integral participants in their health management. Emily cares for women at every stage of life from early adolescence to senior adulthood. She possesses a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in all aspects of women’s health. Providing evidenced-based care is essential in modern-day health care practices, and she is tenacious in her pursuit of professional growth to ensure that the care she provides is relevant and effective.

Emily is a California native and grew up primarily in the Washington D.C. area. However, she has lived in Utah for over 30 years and considers herself a true Utahan. She has been married to her husband for almost 30 years, and they have seven children, 13 grandchildren, and one spoiled dog named Tulip. She enjoys reading, traveling, any outdoor activity, and spending time with her family.
