The Summa Health Gallery

Summa Health's commitment to surround and connect patients, their families, visitors and caregivers with the healing power of the arts is embodied in the Summa Gallery, a 1,500-square-foot celebration of local artists that is open on the Akron Campus, subject to current visitation guidelines.

The gallery opened in March 2020 and features quarterly exhibitions.

The gallery is located near Starbucks and the Gift Shop of the Women’s Board of Summa Health. Visitors to the gallery enter at the main entrance at 141 North Forge Street.

All art in the gallery is available for purchase. To purchase a piece of art, email Healing Arts Coordinator at medukici@summahealth.org or call 330.375.4004.

Meet the artists of the Juve Family Behavioral Health Pavilion

The Summa Health Gallery features works by visual artists whose artworks are on display in the Juve Family Behavioral Health Pavilion.

The exhibition includes pieces in a variety of mediums including paint, pastel, photography, digital and fiber arts and mixed media. Elements of nature, calming waters and references to home reoccur throughout the exhibition. Bright, joyful colors greet visitors and circulate throughout the exhibition, in hopes of providing the viewer a mood-boosting experience.

This exhibition will be on view January 12-April 4.

All artwork in the gallery is for sale, and a portion of the proceeds benefits the Healing Arts Fund. To purchase, email Healing Arts Coordinator Ivana Medukic medukici@summahealth.org or call 330.375.4004.
