The Healing Power of Art

Summa Health promotes a healthcare environment that surrounds and connects patients, visitors and staff with the healing powers of the arts. The new patient tower will feature more than 50 unique pieces of art that will enhance the Summa Health experience and community well-being.

Among the featured works will be a 20-foot-tall sculpture outside the tower’s main entrance — the new front door of the Akron Campus — and a signature commissioned piece highlighting the two-story main lobby. All works in the tower are created by artists with ties to Northeast Ohio.
